GIS Special Interest Group

The GIS Special Interest Group (SIG) is a group of Dutchess County residents, volunteers and municipal leaders interested in learning more about GIS topics and techniques. The GIS SIG provides an opportunity for members to share experiences and knowledge though monthly meetings and an email list. Short talks and demonstrations of GIS work, tools, or techniques are provided at most GIS SIG meetings. The GIS SIG email list provides a way for members to receive GIS news and announcements from CCEDC and each other.

The GIS SIG typically meets on the 4th Wednesday of each month at the CCEDC main office, Dutchess County Farm & Home Center (2715 Route 44, Millbrook – see map below for directions), at 6:00pm. Check the Environment and Energy Program Events section for upcoming GIS SIG meetings.

To join the GIS SIG email list or to find out more about the GIS SIG, contact Neil Curri at 845-677-8223 ext. 148, or nc273@cornell.edu
