For past webinars, view the archive, here. Getting to Net-Zero Energy Homes: Thursday, January 8, 2015: 10:30 am – 12 pm. Building on 20 years of “lessons learned” from the award winning EcoVillage Ithaca, and three model projects under development locally, our webinar presenters set out to show how greenhouse gas emissions could be reduced by 80% compared to typical homes in the county, and to use these results to drive change in new residential development. This webinar will explain how net-zero energy homes are possible now and will cover the principles behind three projects, with an overview of each project and a summary of lessons learned. Agenda. - EPA Webinar: Food Waste Reduction Alliance Webinar: Thursday, January 15, 2015: 1 – 2:30 pm. Stresses on food production systems due to multiple social, economic and environmental factors have revealed alarming statistics about the amount, causes and consequences of wasted food in the US and globally.
