Financial Management Education Programs

The primary goal of our Financial Management Education programs is to help individuals and families increase their economic well-being through increasing savings, reducing debt, and managing budgets more effectively.

Current Programming:
The Financial Management Education Program continues to deliver quality, research based education to Dutchess County residents. Through our partnership with The United Way of the Dutchess-Orange Region, the Financial Literacy for Youth (FLY) program provides free financial literacy lesson series and workshops for Dutchess and Orange County youth in a variety of settings. Additionally, our financial management program offers fee-based workshops for adults and youth as well as financial management workshops to improve workplace wellness.

Due to the loss of funding, our Financial Literacy Education for Adults in Transition (FLEAT) program and our volunteer driven Family Budget Education (FBE) Program are no longer able to operate. However, our skilled and dedicated FBE volunteers continue to support our Financial Management Programs through their participation in our fully funded programs.
