4-H Brings Agriculture to Life in Local Schools Through Reading

In celebration of National Agriculture Week, March 17-21, 2014, the 4-H Program of Cornell Cooperative Extension Dutchess County (CCEDC) is joining volunteers across the state to read books with an agricultural theme to second graders. In its 8th Year, Agricultural Literacy Week, a program of New York Agriculture in the Classroom, has helped to bring agriculturally themed books and resources into thousands of classrooms and libraries throughout New York State. This year’s selection is Who Grew My Soup? written by Tom Darbyshire and illustrated by C.F. Payne. Click here for more information
