Green Teen on NPR!

On Wednesday, May 27th, CCEDC’s Green Teen Community Gardening Program was featured on WAMC – a local NPR station in the Hudson Valley. The interview, led by WAMC’s Joe Donahue and starring our very own Helannna Bratman and her Green Teen Crew Leader Chelsea Schiffer, focused on a fundraising event – For Goodness Bake – that Green Teen will be putting on in the City of Beacon this Saturday, June 6th!

For Goodness Bake is an annual Beacon bake sale dedicated to raising funds and awareness for charitable organizations within the Hudson Valley. Now in its third year, For Goodness Bake has previously raised over $6,000 for the Children’s Organ Transplant Association and the Kids R Kids Feeding Program.

This year, For Goodness Bake will benefit the Green Teen Community Gardening Program. The sale will be held on June 6th from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Catalyst Gallery in Beacon, NY.
